Should illegal immigrants be sent “Only” to Sanctuary Cities?
by I believe in overlapping inpro-illegal immigration advocates are fighting president trump’s efforts to keep illegal immigrants out of the united states.
trump wants immigrants to enter the usa legally and in a controlled manner so as not to tax the local economies of their resources that will burden the local law abiding citizens.
“pro illegal immigrant’s advocates insist that illegal immigrants are overwhelmingly good people fleeing bad circumstances in poverty-stricken, gang-ridden or war-torn countries.

From experience with this exact thing; he is torn. Torn between his feelings for you and everything he was ever taught by his family. He fears disappointing them, as well as being disciplined and shunned. Right now he is in self preservation mode. Reality has struck and he is trying to save himself. He more than likely, believes that if he is disfellowshipped, his actual life is on the line, if armageddon were to come, before he is reinstated. He is in fear for the only life he has known. Yet, if he does truly love you, he's going to start missing you, and try to reinstate contact with you, probably sooner than later (if he hasn't already) This is a rollercoaster that can last for years. Are you willing to go through that for him, even if you might not end up together, in the end? My best advice to you is, be strong. Let him know you love him no matter what, but if he won't choose you, over his family, you're gone, for good. Period! And mean it.
Truth is, He can still choose you, marry you, and remain a witness (as long as you're ok with that. I recommend you do extensive research into what that would mean for you and any children you two may have) He will just have to make sacrifices, which he will do, if he truly loves you. You need to be willing to live your life, with or without him.

...except common sense isn't so common. You and I may have it, but the idoit baby factory down the street, not so much. You want to sit next to him/her on a plane, with your kid, who's too young to be vaccinated? Or any other number of ways your kid can come in contact with him/her or their ilk? Most common sense laws are for idiots with no common sense. Think seatbelts, texting while driving... making parents immunize their cute little bundle of snotty virus incubator.
Were not speculating here. The vaccines we're talking about all but eradicated the measles virus from the western hemisphere, except for those pesky asshats who insist on not vaccinating and traveling, willy nilly, to places around the world, where the disease is still prevalent, and then traveling back home, infected. Common sense?
I do however, wholeheartedly agree with, and subscribe to your statement on vitamins and hand washing. Excellent preventive maintenance.

Yah, I was embarrassed to be associated with Jehovah's witnesses, period. Being a spectacle almost every day in school, because you didnt salute the flag, say the pledge, participate in birthdays or holidays. Questioning EVERYTHING, (class assignments, films, field trips, after school activities) and whether it was proper for a
Christianwitness. Constantly being made to stand out, for percieved negative reasons, while not being allowed to make a solid friendship with anyone around you, you know, for some kind of support. Constantly being embarrassed, yet getting good at hiding it, and learning how to hide in plain sight, or avoid those situations altogether. And yes, there was always a witness who loved to informally engage others, and insist on preaching to someone while we were just out doing something otherwise benign.
Also, being made to call on a classmates home. You knew you were gonna hear about it on Monday, and probably for quite some time after. Being forced to stand out in a crowd, negatively, for no good reason, only to then, years later, watch GB members shirk their court appearances, their positions, their beliefs. To avoid what? Confrontation, being embarrassed? What? And you expected me, as a little kindergartner, to stand up and proudly announce that I was one of Jehovah's witnesses and I didnt salute the flag. Man that boils my blood.
Sorry, I know I went off on a tangent. But yah, I'm embarrassed that I was ever a part of Jehovah's witnesses, period.

Desirous of Change, as Tameria said, small children and babies, who are too young to be vaccinated, are still susceptible to the measles virus, as well as others. Also, just because you've been vaccinated does not mean you can't contract measles, although it's a pretty small chance.
Tameria, yes, I've read about the Autism link to vaccinations being debunked, but that doesn't keep parents from still using it as an excuse, and some are still truly afraid of it. I had my children vaccinated, but I understand parents being concerned about possible side effects. I just dont get parents who are too lazy to get their kid vaccinated, but that's what I think happens when generations are fortunate enough not to grow up in a world where millions were dying from it, and every parent was worried. How easily people take for granted, and forget.

...and yes, it's crazy how certain people shame you for not getting your flu shot. And that's been my experience as well, people I know, getting flu shots, later getting the flu. It's like in the last 10 years it became the thing to do. Suddenly the news started reporting and commenting on it, like it has always been a commonplace thing, kinda like naming winter storms like they're hurricanes. Suddenly, they're doing it like it's always been done, and I'm over here like, wtf, when did this start and why is everyone acting like this is normal now??? Lol

I avoid taking any medicines. I'll let things run their course and take a day or two, off, if I have to. I rarely take cold medicine, aspirin, pepto, or anything, other than vitamins, or vitamin boosters, such as Airborne or Emergen c. I figure the less chemical I put in my body, the better off I'll be, and if and when I do need it, the more effective it will be at doing it's job.
As far as Btf's go, I've had a couple, due to an emergency situation. Long story I won't get into here, but suffice to say, I came out alive, healthy, unscathed, and completely look at it differently now. If you would like more details, pm me.

Min, there are some people who believe there is a link between vaccinations of children, and autism. Basically that it can cause autism in an otherwise healthy child. I believe there's also other arguments to other life changing side effects in otherwise healthy children. I think some of the parents who refuse to vaccinate are actually scared of a crippling side effect, but the vast majority is just parents being too lazy to go get it done, and then using the side effect theory as an excuse. That's just speculation on my part. I guess there's also people who dont because of religious beliefs, though I'm not sure what the belief is or why it keeps them from doing it. Perhaps someone else can explain it.

I have never gotten a flu shot either, min, though I may when I get older and more susceptible. I have always had a very healthy immune system when it comes to common illnesses, and believe that allowing your body to run through the cycle of getting sick, especially when you're young and healthy, helps build a stronger immune system. What always troubles me about the flu shot, is that they dont always get the strain right, and the possibility of you still contracting the flu remains pretty high, 40% if you're a healthy adult! Since I rarely get sick, generally once every other year or two, so, I figure, why screw with a good thing?
On the other hand, getting a serious illness, like the measles, can be disastrous to small children and infants, who aren't old enough to get a vaccine, and even though the percentage is small, that you can contract the disease if you've been immunized, there's still a chance, like 7%, that you can still contract it, and so, it's just good preventative medicine to go ahead and vaccinate your children when they are old enough. Why risk an epidemic?
Btw, my percentages are rough and based on a small bit of past research. There may be better numbers someone who has a better medical background, or better, more recent research, may have to share.

If seatbelts are mandatory and enforced with fines, then vaccinations should be as well. Children not vaccinated, should not be allowed in school, or other public institutions/venues.
